KPM862 is a compact yet comprehensive and flexible printing and ticket management solution derived from a heavy duty print engine and complemented with a new inline HF/UHF RFID reading and writing module and an inline contact image sensor (CIS).
Options for CUPPS compliant native AEA 2012 support, optional easy fit dual feeder individually adjustable 40mm to 86mm wide, and a strong autocutter with a holding feature, it is inherently suitable for alternately printing boarding passes and baggage tags from the same printer.
It is exceptionally fast, printing at 250mm/sec and can process paper weights from 70gsm to 255gsm. There is an inline contact image sensor (CIS) that can be used to scan 1D and 2D barcodes for ticket stock control and fraud prevention and for ticket alignment.
KPM862 has a very strong motor capable of pulling stock from a huge 300mm diameter paper roll or from fanfold, resulting in high autonomy with longer periods between paper changes. The print head life of 100km printed paper and the 1,500,000 cut MCBF are key to the reliable and robust nature of this printer solution.
